How do I create programs that maximize my client's wellbeing?
People with neurodevelopmental disability may have deficits in communication, adaptive behavior, socialization, self-care, and play and leisure.
Traumatic experience(s) during childhood can worsen these deficits while also creating uniquely new challenges. As a result, clients may present with a history of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) as well.
